it finally happened

My son left yesterday for Navy boot camp. I'm so proud of him but as his mom I'm missing him like crazy already. I cried like a baby when he called saying he got to Great Lakes Ill. My hubby is active duty so he is taking this much easier then I am. Can't wait for my first letter.

When my son was in bootcamp (Army) I couldn't wait for his letters. I'd come home from work, grab the mail and if there was a letter from him, I would sit down and start reading it. I couldn't wait to hear about all the stuff he was doing.
