It Finally Happened-prices Up At Paramount

Hey guys, just as I posted a few days ago, I figured the increased gate prices would trickle down soon enough to other vendors. So I kept calling Paramount all week, and finally today, when I'm able to buy the tickets, I look on the website and they have $301 as the 7 day park hopper for addult and $245 for kids. Now mind you, its only a $1 difference, but with a family of 4, thats $4 and four dollars is four dollars, you know what I'm saying! I called my husband in a panic and he laughed and said"Whats the big deal" I think my fellow DIS'ers will understand its the principal that I"ve been calling every day and trying to wait until closer to pay day to get these tickets, and someone even posted here that they asked ROSA will the tickets go up and she said no.
At any rate, here's my dilemma-I've been calling since I saw the web rates and keep getting disconnected. Should I just book the tickets online? I heard that you had to fax info if you do it online, and I feel more secure doing it over the phone, but what if I don't get through today via phone. I"ve got the website still up and waiting for replies!! Thanks guys!

And went ahead and booked it over the phone. I was able to get through on the first try. She said the increase happened yesterday and they had no prior knowledge. Oh well, its done now. And I still have to fax back authorization to use my credit card, which I thought you didnt have to do via phone. WHy do I feel so uneasy, I thought I would be so happy once I got the tickets? I guess its the shock of having a 2 minute conversation and coming out $1107 poorer

CFT 7 day Park Hopper Plus is Adults: $299.00 and Kids: $236.00

The 7 day php plus was $301 in Dec when I bought mine for Dis con. Im not sure when it went down to $300. I did see it for that price I just wasnt sure when it happened. Going back to $301 isnt bad--still a great deal.

I called the other day and ordered our 7 day hopper plus tickets over the phone and received the email asking that I sign and fax it back to them so that our order could be processed. On the bottom of the letter it requested that I attach a copy, front and back, of my credit card and fax that as well. I did fax back the signed letter but no copy of my credit card. I received an email two days latter letting me know that my order has been processed along with a UPS tracking number.
It appears that your request would be processed without a copy of your credit card.

Yep, Central Florida's tickets are raised now too. Guess it was bound to happen.
They are having a special now though - buy one Water Mania Ticket at $20.00 get one FREE.

I just looked at the website and it still says $301. Did you speak with someone there who said $310 for the 7 day php?

I THINK that you might have looked at Paramount's site 4greatboys. It is Central Florida Travel's whose price is now $310.
