On the Menu thread a handful of people say they are serving salad, which I assume means a tossed green salad.

Why??? Absolutely NOBODY wants salad for Thanksgiving. They're only eating it to be polite. NOBODY in THIS thread says salad is a must-have.

Skip the salad. I guarantee it won't be missed.

But if you insist.....
