If the deadline passes, you have the option to cancel and get your deposit back. Of course, you could also waive the deadline date. I'd have a frank discussion with the broker and find out why they haven't signed. Some people just can't let go at the end, and let the deadline date pass. Others have legitimate reasons for not signing (death in the family, on a business trip, didn't know they needed to sign it, etc...).
