Welcome jpk! Glad to have you here.
Take a look around at some of the thread, including some on the older pages. Most of the answers you're looking for, I'm sure, are there somewhere.
And if you havea chance to get on early morning or later nights, the search feature is usually up then.
Happy hunting.

Hi jpk,

That's how I started too: I am also a first time cruiser and I first glancing thru all threads and seriously I did read most of them. After that, most of my questions had been answered. I have also read a lot of trip reports. All of them provide very helpful info.

Have a wonderful trip.

I recently purchased the passporter book for the disney cruise and found all the information I need. You can check out their website at www.passporter.com (there website is down at this minute for maintenance). Or you could go to www.borders.com and order it from their website. You can also find it at your local book store, but I find that they are usually out and need to order it anyway.

This is just my opinion, but that is the best book!!

Hope you have a wonderful cruise!!!:wave2:

I would also highly recommend checking out the following siites:

dcltribute.com
castawayclub.com

And of course, feel free to post your questions here - everyone has been SOOO helpful to me.

Then, sit back and enjoy!

First Cruise: I would try to be at the port by 11am. Get checked in, explore the terminal, watch a few Disney cartoons on the tv's, and then get on board early.

If you are wanting Palo or Spa ressies, do them first. Get the kids signed in to the Oceaneers Club or Lab early on. Drop off your carryon luggage in your state room (keep your camera). Go to the buffet and enjoy your first good meal of the cruise (the great ones come a little later). If you have teens in the 13-18 age group check out "The Stack". You will get to meet some of the councilors then and after 7pm its off limits to adults.
have fun on you trip.:cool1:

If you have questions, just ask.

Go early to checkin, sleep only when you have to, explore every inch of the ship, do everything possible but most of all: sweat nothing and have fun! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo
