Issues with using Disney+ offline

We have not had any luck. The only way it works is to drive 20 minutes up the road, pull up a hotspot, start the movie, pause it and drive back and hit play. That works but it's obviously a real pain (and we've given up watching Disney+ while we are off the grid). I did eventually talk to tech support again and they said it was a glitch and they'd let the programmers know....that was back in October.
