Issues with "My Disney Experience" app

I tried to use the app this morning for the first time and found out there are a few issues with it. After putting in our reservation number it came up with DS down as a child despite being 13 now, but omitted to name him , and put DH in twice! The dining plan was incorrect too , :( now I'm going to have to call the USA number to get it corrected at lunch time. Wish me luck, I really need some Pixie Dust to get this resolved. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen with the wrist bands when we check in,just maybe they will get all the "teething problems" sorted out before we go. I could understand DS being classed as a child for room occupancy but not for dining or tickets. If this is soon corrected I can look forward to using the app which I can't do at the moment as it says my info is incorrect mmm... something must have happened in the data transfer or something since my invoice details are all correct.
 
Can't help with your problem sorry but how did you enter your reservation? I've tried both my uk reservation number and my US one and neither seem to work?!

I used the US number, I know it's correct as its the one IPOD at the hotel have for my reservation and my own log in details, so it's got me baffled TBH! I rang the UK free phone number and spoke to a lovely lady CM who gave me the phone number for the correct department (she used to work with them a while ago). She did say other people have phoned asking the same thing ..how do we get this app corrected? So now I just have to call them and try to explain the problems. I guess that's just progress for you everything changes and we all have to adapt to it the best way we can. If they are not informed of issues they cannot correct them.
 
Same problem here - neither my UK or US resort reservation number are recognised.

I've added my dining reservations too - it complained that they couldn't be found from the confirmation numbers/phone numbers I entered, but when I cancelled out of that screen there they were!

I look forward to using the app to it's full potential when they've ironed out the bugs.
 

So my US number now works, but only my name is there and my wife and son were unnamed guests.
I named them on it and it told me it didn't match their records.

No shock. Disney and web sites don't go well together :)

Yep I know how you feel, you can try adding them in the app but it doesn't mean you will find it straight forward. I just rang the US tech folks try them for help they didn't realise what issues were showing up. Hopefully they can look into it for you the number is 001 407 939 7765 option 2 for tech help they are really friendly and will look into it so if anyone else is having issues with this app please ring them it's only going to help them work out where there problems lie and hopefully help you get the most out of your holiday too.
 
I just called them as the app will not accept my hotel reservation or my mobile number. The girl told me that they are working on various fixes etc over the coming days and weeks and that anyone with issues should call them,but its likely to be resolved shortly.

Sha also confirmed that the website for the UK gusts will remain as is for the time being, currently the my disney experience page should only be available for US guests. She said they were aware of UK guests being able to use the site but its a "bug" that is allowing it!

Seems they have a few "bugs" with this new technology... :scared1:
 
Is it just the iphone app that has been updated? I cant find any way to enter my reservation in the Android app.
