Me too! We actually just ordered another laptop. We had this one for over a year and knock on wood we have not have any problems with it. I can't wait for the new one to come!

I've been happy with my Dell - I have had 2 issues happen: a powercord die and a hard drive crash. In both instances, I immediately got in touch with a service person who pinpointed the issue and I was sent new parts within 48 hours. I have no complaints at all! My machine is on an average of 18-20 hours a day and I've been very happy with it.

I am sorry you're not getting anywhere, but encourage you to take advice from others in the thread regarding getting above peons and requesting a return. I'd also dispute charges with the bank in the meantime.
