Issues with ce-multiavantages site

I know it sounds picky but it's date of issue not date of purchase :goodvibes

So check with them and tell them when you are going if you are on/at the limit of the 6 months date as they have stocks of temporary passes issued in advance and don't go out and buy them for client per client

Hmmm just re-reading this. So, if I'm reading correctly. Say we get our temporary APs in Feb but don't exchange for permanent until our trip first week in June, does that mean we will have 'lost' 4 months or so of our AP because we didn't exchange straight away after purchase :confused3.

If someone could let me know I'd appreciate it as it may mean if that is correct, then I don't get one yet (although I know the offer with CE isn't on much longer)....

No ;) The years validity of your real AP pass starts the day you activate it with photo and al in the Passeport office at DLP

You have 6 months from the date of issue of the "voucher"/"temporary" what ever you care to call it that CE sends you

CE have maybe bought these things 3 weeks ago so if they sent you one today you would have 5 months and a week to exchanage it rather than 6 months.

This is why I'm saying if you are at the limit of the 6 months period it mihght be worth mentioning your travel dates when you plac eyour order so that they can send you one dated accordingly

As to this offer might be ending soon who knows , it's been running on and off for the past 2 years except during peak period but yes they could stop it tomorrow if they or rather Disney wished without any warning

I'm thinking of getting APs for my next trip to dlrp using ce multiavantages- ill be getting 5, for me, bf, bf's mum, bf's dad and bf's sister, and I'm thinking of the fantasy APs. We arrive on the 30th March but won't need to use the AP til the 31st, which is a blockout date. My understanding is that if you buy your AP on a blockout date you can use it on that day, which is why I was thinking it would work out ok to get fantasy APs, however, does anyone know if I buy the APs from ce multiavantages and then actually collect the APs on a blockout date will I still be able to use them on that date, since I didn't actually buy them on that date iykwim?

Sorry if that's quite a complicated question, hope it makes sense!

Hi, It makes sense to me and afaik you can use them on that day as it's the same (to me) as if you went and bought one at the ticket office entered the park and went to the AP office and validated it

But I can't say 100% that is how it will be seen by them

I'll try and find out for you within the next couple of days :)

Thanks so much! If you can find out that would be great as I am responsible for the organisation of the trip and I don't want to mess it up and have everyone be stressed or disappointed!

I've found several sites that go along with what we were thinking concerning the creation of AP's and blackout days but nothing coming directly from Disney

If I was you I'd phone the AP office and ask them officially for confirmation.

Just to confirm (I have put it on another post but seems sensible to put here as more people look here), my APs arrived recorded delivery (which I paid for, just under 7 euros) this morning. I only ordered on late Tuesday night so great service.

The temporary APs are just like park tickets (but obviously have temporary AP on the back). The under 7 year old one says so, the adults just say temporary AP. I told Alice at CE the date we are going (as per Carrie & ManCityMickey's recommendation), so that she ensured the validity date went past our trip date. We go early June and our temp passes expire 21st July so plenty of time! :)

Would love to hear from anyone who goes soon and actually exchanges the temp for permanent APs, just to confirm all was fine. Can't see why there would be any problem with them whatsoever though as they are clearly legitimate and a few people have vouched for them on here!

Just wondering now if there might be some more nice offers via CE before we go as they do seem to have Disney offers from time to time, and as we've paid an annual membership fee it would be great!

Also fwiw, it appears you can obtain cheaper Bateaux Parisiens tickets via CE - so, for anyone getting APs, you could also get Paris boat trip tickets too, if you plan a Paris trip. Not sure they are great deal - they certainly seem cheaper than tickets on the day :confused3. I'm still trying to persuade DH to have a day in Paris but alas he isn't budging at the moment :lmao:

Btw I have nothing to do with CEMultiavantages just in case you are wondering. Just a Disney nut like most people on her :goodvibes

Thanks! If we get fantasy APs I will phone before hand, started thinking today whether dream passes might be worth it but it's my bf who is paying for the park ticket portion of the trip and I don't know that he'd want to spend that much!

I used Google Translate to type my message in English, then copied and pasted the French version, that Google Translate had magically produced for me, into an email.

My French is OK, but its a long time since I was at school!!
