Make sure to request to be near lobby or near transportation (whichever you think you may be visiting more). The halls are very long and you want to be close to the middle of the building and not far out at an end. My Mom and I had the second to last room once and it took a long time each day to get to that room. I don't believe my Mom was renting an ECV offsite at that point and at the end of the day, it was a miserable walk back to that room.

There is not a true Quick Service at Kidani. Sanaa is 1 level down from the lobby, but in the center of the building like the lobby. I think sanaa does do some sort of QS for breakfast. We always just do breakfast in the room so I never paid attention.

Are you going to rent an ECV at the parks or bring one with you? If you have one with you the whole time, no need to worry about what room you are put in. Nice upgrade though, from a value to a deluxe! Are you in an ADA accessible room or a regular room?

Oh, yes-and if you go to the front desk, ask for a map of where exactly your room is. Once I was told that I was "near the lobby", but I didn't ask to see a map. Turned out that we were in the fourth pod. One time, I asked for "near the lobby". No one assured me that it was, which is OK, because it turns out that it was near the very end of the hall. I still walked (pre-ECV) with a major limp and it took me 20 minutes to walk to the lobby.

If you have a car Kidani has the advantage that you can park near one of the elevators near your room

If you are not driving then like other have said ask for near the lobby for mobility limitations

Congratulations! You will be stunned at this resort! Do call and explain the situation to CS. They do have HA rooms and/or can try to accommodate placing you as close to the lobby as possible. Enjoy!

no ocassionally use ecv in parks, but usually pretty steady

You may want to consider using a Rollator (like a walker, with little wheels to roll, and a built in seat that usually has storage underneath) given the size of the Kidani Village Resort.

Just a suggestion! 🙂
