Issues adding card details to Disneyland App

Anyone had issues adding their credit card details to the Disneyland App? I have managed to add mine, but DH is just getting rejected each time he tries. We weren't sure if its cos we Brits , but that wouldn't explain why mine was added OK. Does he need to add his card details in order to book Dining Reservations?

You will need to have a card to reserve dining since there is a cancellation fee attached. I am not sure if you can use a Disney GC instead?

Only one of you needs to do all of the dining bookings for your party, so maybe use your account for all of them?

I'm in the U.S., and I've also been unable to edit my current card or add a secondary one.

I have one perfectly good card that the app refuses to accept, despite numerous attempts.

Someone on the British Disney website I follow suggested making a reservation for a restaurant-anytime, anywhere, doesn't matter-using your preferred card to reserve the restaurant and then cancelling. Hey Presto, that pesky card that it won't accept is now on your account! It worked a treat, and apologies if you wanted Café Orleans and couldn't get it as we "borrowed" a reservation for this purpose!
