Issue with the Website

Is anyone else having major issues using the DVCmember site today? I can get to some pages bt it just keeping loading and never fully loads

With their amazing park and movie technology you would think that they might hire a good website developer.

What makes you think that DVCMC would hire the same people for our website as Disney does for there's?

DVC always seems to run on the cheap.

You think Disney's IT is better? Both are run on the cheap.

Just tried it using Chrome, working fine.
 

The link for RCI bookings is obviously and blatantly wrong. The website seems to be broken tonight.
 
I've been having an issue with the site the last 2 weeks which has varied from annoying to downright frustrating.

I had been stalking one night I needed to complete a VGC reservation during a bust time there (DL 1/2 marathon weekend). I had all nights in a studio except one right in the middle of my stay, so I had booked that as a 1 bedroom, just to have something.

A couple of weeks ago, just before bed, I checked the site and that night was now open in a studio! I canceled my 1 bedroom (those had not yet booked up so the risk wasn't all that great), saw the points come back into my account (I didn't have enough to book the studio w/o first canceling the 1 bedroom, even with borrowing). Went to the reservation booking page, put n the date for that day; it was still there and I clicked book it.

I then was on the page telling me I had 20 minutes to book the room. I chose my contract (I have a few, but only one that would work with VGC because I was outside the 7 month window). Got to the next page, typed in all our names and info, clicked on the disclaimer at the bottom, and...

I got thrown back to the booking page, where it shows the calendar and nights available. Now that room was taken. I figured it might still be being held for me, so I waited about 30 minutes, checking periodically to see if it freed up. Nope. I finally packed it in and gave up. I rebooked my 1 bedroom for that night.

The next day, that room was still gone so I couldn't use MS to help me get it.

A week later, same thing! Late at night, that studio shows up as available for the night I needed. THIS TIME, I couldn't even get it to go off the reservation page with the calendar and list of nights. I'd check book it, and it would just refresh the page. I tried Chrome and Firefox. Neither worked. After a few tries the room again switched from showing as available to being gone.

This time I called my son and asked if he could try logging in from his house and try. He did so and the night was still unavailable. So we waited, and about 15 minutes later it was once again available. My son, using his pc and my account, went through the whole booking process w/o any issues (using Chrome).

To top it off, now I had the nights I wanted (I had canceled the 1 bedroom again the second time) for that race weekend, so I changed my focus to another one, again at VGC. It was for the Star Wars 1/2 marathon weekend in January, and the 11 month window just opened this weekend. I went online, chose the nights I wanted, clicked book it (again in Chrome) and again, the page just kept refreshing each time I tried. I switched to Firefox, and I was able to book the room using it, unlike the previous time when neither Chrome nor Firefox worked. But it was nerve-wracking.

Especially when later that day the studio for one of the weekend nights booked up (actually they went partially because the 2 bedroom lockoffs got booked up).

So I'm at the point now that I can't really trust my pc, for whatever reason, with the DVC member site. I had no problem canceling rooms. I can book ADRs. I just can't always easily book a DVC room.
 
i have had these problems for weeks. Ive made/changed several reservations and it has been awful. Only 50% of the time it has worked on the first time. It will work up until a certain point (usually after the 20 minute page, but not always) and then time out or not load. So frustrating!!
 
Sometimes I get errors when I try to book with my iPad, but if I use our laptop things work fine.

I've been having this issue since they did the website update several weeks ago. It doesn't happen all the time and happens with both Firefox and Explorer. I think I had it happen a week and a half ago on my ipad also. As you suspected when it bombs out it still seems to have the lock on the room for you - in every case I've gotten it back after waiting 20 minutes but it definitely isn't right and is frustrating as well as it leaves the possibility of someone else getting the room before you might lock it in again. :sad2:
 
Problems here too. Trying to set up a waitlist took about 10 try's. Finally got it but took logging in and out. I did the survey afterwards. This gas been going on for too long.
