Issue with sleeping arrangements

Hi all!

On our next trip it'll be me, DH, our DD who will be 15 and our DS who will be 4. We'll be staying in a one bedroom villa. DD will not share the sleeper sofa with DS (I don't blame her as DS is a wriggle-bum as most little kids are!). So I'm wondering what others do in the same situation? DS sleeps in a toddler/junior bed at home. Can Disney supply a rollaway bed or something similar? Would the pack n play be too small, maybe?
Any advice greatly appreciated!
Rox

Not sure if you made any decisions. At Disney, I sleep with DS and the wife sleeps with DD. Just makes things easier. Mine are 2.5 years apart in age and I can't imagine them ever sleeping in the same bed and actually getting to sleep....He's hitting me, she's taking the blankets, she keeps signing, it;s gross.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Can't your son just sleep with you and DH? We co sleep and my son is almost 3. A king is big enough for 4 people lol

I'm sure we'll try this at least once! I agree the beds are huge. The very few times he's come into bed with us, or even just me, he's just not let us sleep. He wants to cuddle all night and if we shove him over he just wriggles his way back! He sleeps fine, but I get so hot and every time he moves I wake up. I love cuddles, but not all night long and for 2 weeks, lol. Perhaps after a few days we'll all be so tired that we'll sleep like stones and won't care where we sleep!

Ha! That is exactly what I mean! DS will do this to DD and to us. He'll also want to pat our heads/arms and cuddle. He's also at the copying stage. How to annoy your 15 year old sister: 'stop it', 'stop it'. 'Get off me', 'Get off me'. Etc. I'm laughing as I'm typing this but it would be quite annoying when we're trying to sleep!

If your 3 yr old isn't walking asleep back to the room and out cold within 30 seconds of hitting the bed you aren't doing Disney right!!:rotfl2:

Seriously we are always so tired that I don't think anyone moves once they are asleep in bed. Keep him out of the stroller a lot.

if you are home a bit early one evening I would suggest swimming befoe bed, that always wore mine out completely.

Another thing is do the one under the covers one over, can't really cuddle that way.
I would also put the 3 yr old in a bit before the 15 yr old, send her to shower iff she'll do it at night
or up to the food court or on a walk for 15 minutes till he passes out.

We stay in 1 bedroom villas but prefer to have a living area and a sleeping area, so all 4 of us sleep in one room. We bring air mattresses for the kids and it works out fine.

I have a now 7 year old kicker. It is impossible to sleep with her. I was the same way growing up, but luckily I grew out of it in college when I was in a loft bed and couldn't afford to squirm around anymore. Some people just aren't cut out for sleeping with other people.
