Anyone ever have an issue with their ADRs? We had booked a special lunch on Friday, April 17th. I was certain of the date b/c it's to celebrate a birthday. When I went to order a cake I found out my ADR was listed under the 15th. Now I can no longer get a ressie on the 17th :( So when double checking my other ADRs my Princess Storybook Bkfast was not showing up. I find out the phone number it's listed under is transposed completely around. I made that ressie the same time I made the other one. My previous experiences have been good, I'll just make sure I always double check my ADRs before a trip.

that happened to me last year, I made a reservation for the day after my arrival, and for whatever reason they had it as the day PRIOR to my arrival :confused3 It was the only problem we had out of 10 or 12 table service meals, and we were able to reschedule just for a different day, but I will be calling to confirm my ADRs for this trip.

like they say, the best offense is a good defense. we double, triple, quadriple check all aspects of our ressies. my wife used to manage a travel agency and she learned that a long time ago.

i would continue to call back daily to see if any openings come up. even call multiple times daily if you have the time. things do tend to pop up here and there and you may get lucky.

The full details are in my December 2007 trip report (link below), but back then we had made ADRs for Coral Reef for lunch on the 7th. When CP packages were released, I switched it to a an early dinner package.

When we arrived, we were not listed!!! But hey, I've got my confirmation number...no problem, right? Well, she found our reservation - for the 11th! Considering we were leaving the 8th, I certainly wouldn't have made a reservation for the 11th...when we switched, the CM must have screwed up the date! Of course, CP packages had been sold out for a while at this point, and getting a table ANYPLACE at Epcot would be impossible...

Before I could explode, the CM got the manager immediately. She came and I explained that the dining CM must have screwed up the date when the reservation changed, and she said that she could still seat us in a few minutes (and it was only a few minutes), but that they only had a limited number of the CP tags. She would call ahead for us, but we would have to pick up the tags at the booth near the stage.

In the end we ended up with a really good meal (no complaints - the waiter even gave us a free lobster bisque as he had accidentally brought and extra one and didn't want to bring it back to the kitchen), albeit expensive, and still got the reserved seating - although not the greatest - we had to book it back after dinner to get the tags, and even the reserved seating line was long...

So at least our story ended up happy.

I booked all of my ADRs for a 10-day trip 90-days out (20+ TS meals), and found out when I called a couple of weeks later to make a change and verify all of the others that one meal had been booked for the week before we arrive - and that was my Fantasmic package. I had gone through the entire list of ADRs with the CM on the phone after we were finished making the individual ADRs to make sure that everything was correct, but somehow that one still managed to be wrong. Not only were we not able to get the Fantasmic package anymore, but if I hadn't shown up for the ADR as it was showing in the computer (a week before we arrive), they would have charged my credit card for the full package price as a no-show.

For future trips, I will immediately call back after making ADRs and speak to a 2nd CM to verify.

I got worried about my ADRs after reading the previous posts.:scared:

So I just called to confirm my ADRs and found that several of them were on the right day but at different times than I had originally scheduled. A couple were latter, but some were earlier. So glad :) I read this thread.

I also asked the very nice CM to confirm that my daughters birthday was listed for the ADRs on her birthday after he checked, he said would you like to let her celebrate every day of you stay. Of course I said yes. What 4 soon to be 5yr old wouldn't love a week long celebration? So he added her birthday to each of our ADR's. She will have so much fun.:yay:

I just called yesterday to add tea at the GF to our ressies. When the CM read the info back to me, she read me the wrong date. Luckily, I caught it when she read me back the info, but it definitely does happen. Maybe I will call back today to check on all our others. . . --Katie

I really don't think these errors have anything to do with the new system. We have been going to Disney since 2002 and every time we go at least one of reservations are messed up. On our last trip, I booked a Fantasmic package for Hollywood Brown Derby but when I had conceirge print out my ADRs it was booked for Hollywood and Vine. I know, I didn't book that location. The year before that we had a California Grill Reservation booked but the rep put it on a night after we were checking out. Then, one of our ADRs was changed by an hour and we lost our table. We normally travel during school vacations like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Summer so, they aren't as accomadating to make other arrangements for us. We even ask politely. Anyways... before I wasn't an advocate of double checking but on this next trip we are traveling with another family so, I think I'll double check to make sure something doesn't get messed up.
