Just an FYI that if your significant other is on the card and you are still waiting for it to arrive, call Bank One!

I just got back from the mall and I wasn't able to use my card . I called Bank One and they said it was a security measure where they want you to call in to verify that I received the card. . Now, I've been using the card with NO problem for a few weeks, and it's not like this was a big purchase! The rep on the phone said she didn't know why they (Bank One) waited so long to put the security tag on my card, as they usually do that earlier on. So why did I have to "activate" my card to begin with if they were only going to "shut it off"?

Anyway, while on the phone she asked if I had another household member on the card - to which I answered "Yes, but we haven't received his yet". She told me she'll have it sent out and he'll get it within 5/7 days.

If you are still waiting for another card, you better call or you may not get it.

Hmmm...we haven't had any problems. But I think ours came on the same day.

I did receive a call from them the other day, because I was placing an order with Tupperware and I typed the expiration date in wrong. Entered the info a second time, and it went through. (One of my BIG $1 orders.) They were just checking to make sure everything was okay. Had me verify my address and then they went through some of the charges. I guess maybe they were a little concerned because we only had the card like 4 or 5 days, and we already had $566 on it. They better get use to our spending habits! LOL! Two trips to the gas station, one trip to Target, one to BabiesRUs, and DH's trip to the mall and the car inspection....it adds up fast!

As discussed elsewhere, you can purchase an eCert for $1 (change the amount once it's in you cart and update). Yes, I still get the 800 pts. As long as my computer doesn't flake out before I get the confirmation page or MyPoints isn't having some other problems. I send the eCerts to myself, and save them up for a bigger order. It does take a while to enter all those numbers when checking out with a bunch of eCerts. And, yes, as long as it's a new offer, you'll get the 800 pts when you cash them all in, too. I know it doesn't seem like you should be able to do all this, but I'll keep doing it until someone tells me not to. (Which, with my luck, will be soon since I've finally figured all this stuff out.)
