Issue booking theme park reservations with resort reservations

Hi!

We have our first trip to Disneyland Resort booked for the first week of next March. We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel and I'm seeing that we can book our theme park reservations now. I'm having some issues and don't know if it's me or the system.

I've tried doing it through the Disneyland app. When I tap on the Make Theme Park Reservations button, it opens up Safari and asks me to log into my Disney account. After I've done that, it takes me to a page with a broken image and it prompts me to download something. I've also tried this on desktop using both Safari (same issue) and Chrome which was Disney's suggestion. In Chrome, I'm taken to an error page.

I know there were issues the other day with the launch of Genie, not sure if any of this is tied to it. Has anyone encountered these issues and if so, what's the best solution?

Yeah, I was just trying to make a park reservation for our GCH checkout day, thinking I'll run in for an hour or two at rope drop, but it won't let me from either the app or the Disney account on a web browser. The app says that day is not available, the browser just flashes the Woody waiting image then reverts back to the reserve page.

Coincidentally we are also staying a DLH in March.

I’ve only been able to do it on a computer and I had to use Chrome. It’s glitchy.

Did you link your hotel reservation using the website?

We wanted to change our park reservation from DCA to DL yesterday, the front desk did it for us.
