ISO: Root Beer Swwet Potatoes from Hollywood & Vine

Does anyone have the rootbeer sweet potatoe recipe from Hollywood & Vine at MGM. Seeing all the recipes MargeJ posted from MGM made me wonder. DH LOVES these!!!!

Here you go:


Rootbeer Sweet Potatoes Sauce
Hollywood & Vine

2 C. rootbeer
1/2 cup bourbon
1 ounce lemon juice
2 ounces water
1.5 ounces corn starch
1 ounces butter
3 oz. brown sugar
pinch of ground cloves

Mix corn starch with water, set aside. Bring all other ingredients to a boil in a pot. Add corn starch mixture. Let thicken. Sauce is now ready to be poured on sweet potatoes.

Slice fresh, peeled sweet potatoes in 1/2" circles, bake in a buttered pan at 350 degree oven until soft (20 - 30 minutes). Remove from oven, pour glaze over and they are ready to serve.
