ISO ~ extra polly pocket dolls.

My dd has a set of the Disney Princess ~ Polly Pocket type dolls with the rubber/plastic clothes.

One of her Disney Princess dolls head broke and I don't want to buy the whole new set.

Anyone got any ideas on what to do?

Walmart and Target carry similar sets.

Target has smaller pkgs, like a doll (polly pocket type) and 1-2 accesories. Maybe you can find one in the doll that you need.

Which one do you need?

(We have had "heads" break off before too - what's up with that?)

Disney toys are cheap cr*p? So many Disney toys i have bought break I hate to get them for the kids.

Are they the ones that are actually from the Disney Store or the ones that come from other stores like Target, Walmart, TRU etc?? I think the ones in these stores are made by Hasbro right?? If so I have had great luck just calling hasbro and they would send me replacements. I used to be able with the Disney Store ones too when it was actually owned by Disney now I am not sure if that will work.

By the way this has worked the same for me with Mattel and Fisher Price products.

Have you tried superglue? We have fixed many a polly pocket broken appendages with this stuff.

I do think the ones from the Disney Store have smaller bodies than the Polly Pockets and the Princess at Target/Walmart.

I have 2 girls with tons of PPs. This is the first Christmas in almost 4yr that we did not get any PP, princess type or other.

(no Legos this year either - interesting)

Hmm I think the disney store had the buy one set get one set this past week? on these dolls? I saw some smaller sets- like just a bed and doll that seemed pretty reasonable(but dd's heads popped off too!) so we just squeeze the polly pocket dolls into the dresses!(just like Mommy has to do every day! )

Oh, and have you noticed that some of the Princess polly pockets have odd looking faces? I forget which ones....from DS or Target, but one of the Cinderellas looked more like the step-sisters.

My 2 girls have tons of the Disney princess ones for the DS. I believe they have 3 of the Aurora ones so I will check when I get home and if they do I can mail you the extra. HTH.

We also have this set from the Disney store. Belle's head has also popped off and been lost. I'm in the same boat and would love to be able to get another Belle. They are pretty close to the Pollys we have too.
