Isn't the BIG Aladdin show in DCA?

Then how come there are no show times in the July 1-3 park hours? But there are times in Disneyland for Aladdin & Jasmine's Story Tale Adventures...

I'm confused!

I don't see that the show is closed for refurbishment...please let me know what I'm missing.

Thanks!

Linda

That is most likely a calendar error. It shows playing in June, but disappears in July?? If you really need to know, I'd call the resort and ask. It would probably bring their attention to the calendar issue.

Note that Aladdin does not show on Mondays or Tuesdays, so even if the calendar was correct (which I suspect it isn't) it will not play on July 2-3.

Just to help clear up your confusion on DL vs. DCA:

There used to be a restaurant called Aladdin's Oasis in Adventureland, which has now just become the Aladdin & Jasmine's Story Tale Adventures.

The actual show that you're looking for is in DCA at the Hyperion theater (in the Hollywood backlot area). As the other posters mentioned, it should be playing at least on 7/1. I would also call to be sure.

It's not in the Calendar for my July dates of 21 and 22. If you call and find anything out, please let us know. I'll be very disappointed if this show is closed (as Snow White is already history).

Everything has sort of been trickling in for the month of July. Perhaps they haven't determined show times yet. In any case, I wouldn't worry unless I saw it on the refurb list.

Yes, as someone replied earlier, the Aladdin Spectacular is an awesome live theatrical show at DCA on Weds and another day I believe.
If you catch it, I recommend seats other than the balcony (nosebleed) section, you'll see why.
And the Aladdin and Jasmine thing at Disneyland is totally something else.

I think contacting Disneyland Park directly could really clarify the showings and dates...

Good luck!

Most likely the July schedule has not been completely updated on the web site. They seem to tease you with bits and pieces. There are a number of things scheudled for Saturday, June 30 in both parks that are not scheduled for Sunday, July 1 (yet) including:

Billy Hill & the Hillbillies, Flag Retreat Ceremony, Sword in the Stone, Magic of Brother Bear Totem Ceremony, and (of course) Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular.
