Islands Restaurant - Royal Pacific

I am interested in dining at the Royal pacific. I would like it to be a character meal. Does anyone have any info on the restaurant? What type of food? Did the characters come? Any info would be helpful?

Ok.. So I just called the 407503Dine #. The girl on the phone had limited info. She said you could order off the menu or buffet. When I asked her how much the buffet was she said $24.50 then I asked the kid rate she said $3.99 but then said only children under 2. So since I have a kid who is 5 and 7, I asked how much is children that age, she said $24.50. Is that correct?? She also said you could order off the menu, whats the menu like??

My nephews would love to see scooby and shaggy, thats there favorite characters.

Wow. That seems like a lot. They have a character breakfast at Confisco on the weekends. $15/adult, $9/child (my 11 year old qualified as a child). No Scooby or Shaggy, however. All Suess characters who are a lot of fun and very interactive. We all loved it. Plenty of opportunities to see Scooby and Shaggy at US if you are looking for them.

They have a special kids' buffet that is completely seperate from the adult buffet. Kids 12 and under are $9.75.

I practically LIVED in the Islands during my April trip! I had a "small" accident on the boat dock and ended up in a wheelchair for most of my trip. The Islands was the most accessible restaurant and we ate 2 out of 3 meals there.

I did their character meal once. We had Woody Woodpecker and Scooby Doo I believe. There were very few people in the restaurant so we had alot of time with them.

Thanks. I didnt think that the adult/price could be right, but I asked 3 times. She seemed pretty confident. I love these boards. It saves me another phone call. Thanks, I cant wait to go, I hope we see scooby.
