Islands of Adventure

Been to Universal Studios, but never Islands of Adventure. We plan to go Monday, November 1st. We have 3 kids, ages 15, 13, & 6. Can this park be done in one day?

I would say yes, although the new Harry Potter area will probably be attracting bigger crowds than usual during that time. They also sell an express ticket that lets you skip the lines. Sort of like buying a fastpass. If you stay at one of the Universal Hotels you get this pass for free!

Yes, it can be done in one day and those ages should love it if they like thrill rides. You can purchase an Express Pass but we never have. We've been at that time a couple of years and the crowds were light. Actually last year we were there on Halloween and there was very little wait-time.
Try to get there when it opens (usually at 9am). I don't think we waited any more than 10 minutes for any of the rides, some were walk-on.

Islands of Adventure is super fun! In one day you'll probably be able to ride everything and your favorites twice...maybe not WWHOP but certainly all the others Its a beautiful park, too!

Definitely - Make sure that you are there at opening because you will be able to walk onto a lot of the rides.

We went this past August with almost 4, 10, 13 year old - everyone loved it. We also did the Spiderman Character breakfast and it was awesome. Spiderman spent a lot of time with all 3 kids and it was a big highlight.

I would say you will need 1 day per park (IA and Uni Studios), Harry Potter is opening this summer which will be great, take your time and enjoy.
