Islands of Adventure (child 52")

My daughter is into roller coasters. She has only done Disney Coasters (Screamin is her favorite, Rockin Roller coaster, splash, etc. etc. etc.)
We are thinking about doing Universal and Islands of Adventure during our next trip. Our daughter is 52" and most of the big coasters have a height requirement of 54". Should we wait until she is tall enough? Stick with just Disney for another year? I would hate for her to be dissappointed. Is there enough thrilling rides for her @ her height?

Are you going to just IOA or both US/IOA? I think there is plenty to do, the 54" requirement is on Hulk/DD .. and Mummy? Even if it's all three, I still think there is plenty to do. How many days would you be there? onsite/offsite?

There are only 2 rides that she wouldn't be able to ride (Hulk and Dueling Dragons). That's hardly a reason to stay at Disney. There are plenty of other coasters that she can ride at Universal such as Mummy and Woody. If she like Splashmountain, she'll love Jurassic Park and Dudley. If she loves Rock 'N' Roller Coaster and Space Mountain, then she'll love the Mummy.

probably 3 days offsite. We will be staying @ Disney. Is the Mummy scary? She likes Indiana Jones, but does not care for Dinosaur @ AK?

My 8 yr old loves mummy. The effects are a little scary, but not anywhere nears as intense as Dionasaur IMHO. The ride part is pretty intense compared to it's height restriction. If you DD can handle the effects in TOT I'd say she would be fine.
