Island View-Studio....Aulani (pics please)

Hi all,

Will be leaving for paradise at the end of January. This will be our first trip there and I have a feeling a first of MANY

We will be staying in an Island View studio for 8 nights. I have no idea where to "request" and yes, I know it is just a request, to stay. What building, floor etc.

Could anyone that has stayed in a Island View studio please post a pic of your view and room number (building) so I can get some ideas and see if I could do a request.

Thanks, I did start checking out that page, there were very few Island view pics on the front page and I have started going through all the pages. I figured if I just asked for Island View on this post, it would be a lot easier

We were in IV studio #1655 and my photos are already included in a link on the other thread under "more photos" for that unit. We had a true island view (no glimpses of the ocean). It was a slight disappointment as I had requested to be over the Starlit Hui lawn in hopes of getting a glimpse of the ocean - but the resort was 100% full because of hurricane Iselle (people postponed leaving etc.) so there was not any choice in the matter. We were so totally lucky that our flight over wasn't canceled altogether that I really couldn't complain too loudly. At least we MADE it. Other than our first day (which rained on & off from the hurricane) we didn't spend that much time in the room so it wasn't THAT bad. But we didn't spend a lot of time on the lanai either, probably bcuz there was not much of a view… It is still a fabulous resort tho and I'm grateful we were finally able to go.
