I know we were all kind of thinking we’d get details last week and we didn’t so we thought hey they have to do it Monday because it becomes available super early Tuesday and they didn’t.

But they super definitely are going to release details tomorrow. I mean people would be booking blind otherwise! They’d be CRAZY not to!

Right?

I swear, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were like ‘we’re not exactly sure when it’s opening but if you want to pay now we’ll definitely probably let you know sometime before December.’

I’m a teensy bit tempted since we’re going to be there in mid-December (some of us staying at CCV and others at Poly) and could justify a night just to try it out. We’re also there for marathon weekend. I’d rather try with my points if/when they let us but don’t know how intense that will be.

I totally get keeping details on something new limited, and then releasing them in a way that builds antici…pation. Like Universal is doing very well with EU.

Disney, with Island Tower but not just Island Tower, is forgetting to do the second part.

Is the second part doing the time warp? (Again).

I have no horse in this today but we are interested in the penthouses for future use. The tower rooms are sort of showing up in the DVC booking tool starting in January but there have been no updates to the point charts. Of note, what the booking tool is showing as cost per night is clearly wrong as it was giving me 8 points per night for the penthouse.

yes...major disappointment there...also they seem very small with the two dedicated beds in comparison to the space you get in the bungalows w the murphy folded up.
