Actually, it was beta, but it was rereleased as a prize for a host quest one evening only a few months back.

Well...

They were both quest prizes. The slipper chair was around at other time whereas the hat was ONLY available for a quest pirze.

Although you could also argue that a lot more players are around now that were here when the hat was a quest prize than when the slipper was beta.

I think it would truly come down to which you like better. I personally worked really hard for my pirate hat - it would take a lot to get it from me.

But, as with every trade, that's a personal choice. Hopefully the history helps you a little to make your own choice.

I'll get this as clear as I can- this item really frustrates me, as everyone thinks it's beta and is worth inferno, when it's worth probably around 2-3 pirate quest...

They released this in a fairly difficult prince quest back in I believe quest month.

Not to be mixed up with the beta gold slipper, which is very rare...

I think you did very well. While the pink slipper is no longer "beta" because it was rereleased in that host quest game, there were not that many added to the game and are still extremly rare. Most players don't even know that they are not "beta" any more and they still carry a very high trade value. If you are having buyers remorse and want the pirate eyepatch hat back for it I would be extremly happy to help you out, and add a little something extra for your time.
