even though we've never met, I feel a bond - I have a billy-club my Grandpa gave me when I left for college ions ago!!!LOL I still keep it under my bed!!! Never been trained to use it, but it looks bad enough!!! My dh would like me to get rid of it, but I just can't bear to part with it!(some strange affection for this thing!) It's the old wooden style and has a nice weighty feel to it.The only time I've ever used it was to beat the snot out of my pillow one day in a fit of PMS anger!!!It was a very long time ago, the hormones have settled down some these days!!!LOL - now I just go for the chocolate!!
I checked out your blog and I really admire your promo shots - the top one is way cool, what is it of, if I can ask? And your beginners articles - keep them coming - I'm printing them off for my hubby - he refuses to read the manual so this will be easier!!

The picture you're referring to is this one, right?

it's a 6-second shutter speed shot of me turning into the highway. It is an interior shot of my Jetta. The lens used to take the shot was Canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS at f/2.8 with IS turned ON. That's why you can see several distinct light edges instead of one blurry line of light.

.........There is a little bit of good news. The thief got caught. I just got off the phone talking to a cop about 5 minutes ago. The moron tried to sell 400 f/2.8L IS and 5D attached to it....

Yes Kelly, that's the shot!! I just really liked all the motion and lights - now that you told me what it actually is of, I can totally "see" it!!!LOL Don't you know you should have both hands on the steering wheel at all times!!!!LOL Have a grand day and keep us posted on the progress!!
