I have the hardest time shopping for clothes for my husband! Not to mention it gets pretty expensive at times when he actually finds something he likes (I have paid $100 for a shirt, a "throw-back" replica jersey of Reggie Jackson). His normal attire consists of Dye (paintball) t-shirts (not too bad, about $20 but I have to pay s/h to order off the net), Polo shorts ($40-60, he will wear other brands but likes these the best) and Carolina Panthers jerseys (about $70 each). Most of the other button shirts he likes are UNC or other sports apparel that range from $40-65 each. He will only wear Nike tennis shoes (and he has a wide foot so I have a doubly hard time finding 1- a pair he likes and 2- a pair that fit that he likes). He also wears a XX-XXX so that makes it even more difficult to find clothes. He is really particular about his work pants, I was lucky that one brand he liked I could get for $20 and they lasted a long time, now they don't sell those pants anymore. I finally have found a new brand Savane, that he really likes but they are $62! I did catch them for 50% off last month for July 4 sale. Hoping to catch them again for a labor day sale. It can be very frustrating at times.

My DH is actually very easy to clothes shop for. He basically wears whatever I buy for him. He wears Dockers and button-down shirts to work, and Dockers or jeans, and t-shirts or polo shirts on the weekends. He wears either Large or XL, so I don't have problems finding clothes that fit him, and he's not into sports logo clothes (other than the occasional Patriots shirt), so that's not a problem either!

He likes the fact that I do all this clothes shopping for him, he really can't be bothered. And I like this because *I* get to pick out what he wears, which is a huge improvement over the way he used to dress when we first met. LOL

Same here. He doesn't really clothes shop and I pick out what I think he'll look best in. He rarely says he doesn't like something. I don't buy shoes for him though and only buy his underwear and socks when we go on vacation!:smooth:

Mine is fairly easy to shop for. The only thing I wouldn't ever dream of buying for him is a tie... we apparently have totally different tastes in that area. But we go shopping together a lot of the time and he's good about trying on things that I suggest (especially color suggestions) and he's fairly predictable so I could buy clothes w/o him even being there now, but honestly for the moment, we prefer to buy his together :)

When it comes to me, however... well, I am just glad he isn't with me most of the time when I shop, nor has he ever bought something for me w/o me seeing it first. I'm not easy and am more particular with what I will wear.

My Dh is not an off-the-rack kind of guy:teeth: He wears an 18 1/2 36/37 dress shirt, and only wants 100% cooton . He needs a 52L in a suit coat . Anytime he needs new dress clothes we have to go to a Big and Tall store-not too many discounts to be found either. :(

My DH is pretty easy. He's a t-shirt and jeans/shorts kinda guy, but finding his size isn't always easy.

DH is so difficult to shop for! He could have a row of identical to me white shirts, but only one of them would be acceptable. Ties are about the only think I do feel comfortable buying for him. All the clothes his family gives him go straight to a neighbor as he has never worn anything they have purchased for him. I wish I could jazz him up a little, but that is just NOT going to happen!

I wish it was as easy to shop for myself as it is for DH!

It never fails, I go to the mall to find something for myself and end up finding dress shirts, ties, etc. all on clearance for DH.

The only thing I won't buy are shoes and pants, unless the pants are a brand he has owned before.

ditto...I think he's only disliked 1 shirt I've brought home (it was baby blue...heheh...he hated it)

He's pretty easy though...he wears khakis/polos/button down shirts for work...and i can usually find him nice stuff in old navy/gap/Filenes. I'll pick up cargo shorts when they are on sale at old navy (because after he wears them 3 times they are beyond gross...he LIVES in them when he's mowing/working on cars/etc...)

DH won a gift certificate to LLBean in a silent auction...I was floored when he actually bought himself clothes...whenever he buys his own clothes I get a shock, usually he leaves it up to me.

sneakers though...ugh...i want to burn the ones he has just so he has to buy new ones!

Other than the ugly plaid shirts DH wears that I refuse to buy or launder because I think they are so ugly, he is pretty easy to shop for. :p Men's pants are great because they are acutally waist and inseam sized as opposed to women's sizes 8,10,12,14, etc. that usually vary by designer. I know if I go to the store and buy him a pair of 34/32 pants they will fit him perfectly, every time. Wish they made women's pants like that!

LOL! I do the same thing for DH and DD.

I wish DH could shop for me like I do for him. It would save me a lot of trouble. ;)

NOPE! Not at all. He always wears the things I buy him.

Ask him the same question and the answer would be vastly different.:p

You too, huh?

Gee, I wonder why? We're talking about clothes, not things from Fredrick's of Hollywood boys. ;)
