Is Your Scrapbooking Room Satisfying

I am happy that I at least have my own shelves and table and rolling cart, however, it is the most cramped area you can imagine. My fiance and I are temporarily staying with my parents while we are house hunting and saving for our wedding. So week took up residency in their basement temporarily. It's a decent size basement, but just not big enough for everything we have. So I have a small square of that area set up. But we both decided that when we get a house that we will have a big enough room to allow me to have a long scrapbook table and plenty of storage and a home office for him. We'd probably combine this room because depending on the house we get, I'd like a sperate guest room. I would just be happy to have the proper room to move around and be able to keep things neater. That would be great.

Before we built our new home, my scrapbooking room was the kitchen table. I would have to haul everything out and then put it all back up in my rolling cart. Then I built my new home. We have any extra bedroom (3 bedroom house, 1 kid) so I was so excited-MY VERY OWN SCRAP ROOM!!!! Well, now my husband and my son want to add to our happy family. I really would like to have another child--how bad do you have scrapping fever when the downfall is....."I'll lose my scrapping room?" Now I have to rethink everything again. Should have built another bedroom.....Maybe we can add on....

I scrap on the end of the dining table. My stuff is in two CM totes - papers, punches and cutting tools - plus a Cm paper folder, a CM sticker folder and a tiny quantity of brads and eyelets in a sewing thread organiser. PLus other random scrap projects (swaps, ongoing albums) stacked behind me on an old sewing chest. If I host a crop everything comes off the dining table and I spread the tools out instead. Other options? The conservatory is full of toys, and would be too hot in summer and too cold in winter, our home office is basically the computer squeezed into the utility room:rotfl: and the bedrooms are all taken. Now DH has sold his motorbike I'm wondering if the garage could be turned into a proper room....:rolleyes1

It's pretty good. It's one of our spare rooms and we have room for 2 desks. So DH has his computer on one and I have all my stuff on the other. I also have a nice organizing cabinet now which is really great.

I am turning one of the walk in closets in my MBR into my supply area and then I will craft in my office and take supplies up as I need a project. SO far most of the supplies in boxes in the garage. I never released howmuch stuff I was buying a not using.
