Is your resort stay history in the computer?

I have read several posts where people mention CM's looking up their resort "history" in the computers when trying to book a certain rate at a certain resort. So I was wondering two things...first, is this true that your history of where and when you stayed at a WDW resort is in someone's database and whose might that be....and second, could you possible ask a CM to pull this up, tell them to have a look and get you a better rate because you have previously stayed on property? We have stayed at a WDW resort for the past 4 years and will stay again in June. I'm happy where we are at POFQ for now since we have never stayed there. However, my heart aches a little for AKL and we could only afford to stay there if the rate was $154 or better like it was for us last Spring with a code.

THANKS!!!

Yes, your history is in their database. When I made my most recent ressie thru CRO I did'nt even have to give them the names of the members of my family. Thay had all of it already.

They also knew when and where I had stayed previously. The CM asked me if I had been to POR since 2001 and was 2002 my last time there. :flower:

Some CM's must do a better job than others..lol. They never have our most recent trips or the number of visits correct. Or the people I have most recently traveled with.

I think it highly unlikely that a CM would offer you a better rate because of your past history. Every time I have called lately the CM's have all remarked about us having over 100 stays. I'm assuming they mean over 100 nights at WDW resorts--not different trips. So, yes, they have your history on their computers.

Now I remember once a CM named my DH by name and asked if he would be accompanying me again.

Sorry I can't remember the post, but someone on a recent post mentioned getting a room at AKL for a better rate because she had said they had stayed at a wDW resort each time and the CM got her a savannah room, I beleive, for $185. I know it depends on the CM and the season, but just wanted to hear if anyone else had asimilar experience.

They seem to know how many trips I've taken. Last time she said this will be your 27th trip down to to see us, and then corrected herself and said..oh, you haven't taken one of the trips yet, so it looks like you ahve been here 25 times (we booked for May, haven't gone yet in February). She didn't mention which resorts we had stayed at, and they never have. However, they always ask if my Elaine will be joining me, and Elaine has never been..I cancelled Elaines ressie before she got to go (daughter in law who lives overseas) LOL.

But if you rent DVC points and stay at a home-away-from-home then those don't show up in the system as trips you've taken. It only shows stays that were booked in your own name. Another example, if you stayed with your parents, it wouldn't show up either.

Wow, that must be a huge data base. That is something I didn't know about Disney. :earsboy:
