Is your CC charged at the time you make ADR's?

I am just wondering if my CC wil charged when I make our breakfast ADR's for Crystal Palace? I know that the hoop de doo and such are charged but are the others charged at the time you make your adr's or is your CC just used to hold your ressies? Thnks!

you don't need to give any cc information for crystal palace

Correct..no cc for CP. They only take your cc info for certain restaurants as a guarentee that you will show up. They will then charge your card if you don't show up. There is no penalty for not making a regular ADR.

Any that you need a cc no for will let you cancel 48 hours prior with no charge. The Fantasmic package restaurants will not charge the whole price, just 10 bucks a ticket.

We made resies for Cindy's breakfest and had to give CC#. I assumed it was charged to the card at that time... Are you saying its not? If not, can we pay s=cash when we get there?

to clarify..

most ADRs don't require any sort of guarantee.. no penalty for no-show.

some of the most popular ADRs require a credit card as security, no charge now but a $10-$20 per person penalty for no-shows (princess storybook and california grill as examples)

dinner shows (and this includes CRT) require payment in full at time of booking unless on the DDP. the DDP requires the credit card for security and will be charged in full in the case of a no-show.

One amendment, Brad. When you show up for your ADR that was charged at the time you made the ressie, you can take it off your card and pay cash. We've done this with HDDR several times.

Thanks for the speedy replies. I called and got us ADR's for CP @ 8:05am on 10/16. I am so excited as we are one of the first in the park now and this is THE day to do MK according to TGM as we are not staying on property and are trying to avoid EMH days. I have never been in MK before park opening so I am excited to get my pictures of the castle and mainstreet with out all the crowds!
