Is your car messy?

Mine can get messy but normally it's pretty clean. Mine is NOT, however, the cleanest of all my girlfriends. Some of their cars look like they are vacummed twice a week. Right now, because I'm moving my cousins stuff and it smells like smoke, my car is bearing the brunt of the 'stuff.'

Messy inside and out. I try to keep the inside straightened up but the mess always seems to multiply before I get to it. I DO clean the inside out every couple of weeks though I have yet to go through a carwash!

Right now it's pretty clean on the inside, the outside could use a bath though!

Very clean, no eating or drinking allowed. Always looks new inside, nothing is left sitting in the car. I could not drive around in a garbage can.

As spotless as possible. I keep a trash bag for the stuff on the inside and toss it usually twice a week. It goes to the car wash once a month. I get my interior shampooed and my mats dry cleaned 3 times a year. I just wish I could keep the inside of my closet as clean. :lmao:

The outside is due for a cleaning, but that's thanks to the amount of pollen that's been shed the last 2 weeks. I figured I'll just get an automatic wash for the outside next time I get gas.

My car, my wifes car and our daughters car look like they just came of the dealer showroom floor. My son's car ............. well lets say I refuse to sit in it for fear of ruining my slacks.

I would not call my car messy. It never has trash in it. It does get sand and the occasional crumbs. I vacuum it out every couple of months.

Yeah.... Our van is a rat hole. Once a month or so I get fed up and my husband t the big kids down and cleans the rubbish out of it. But we only vacuum it three or four times a year. When we go to the drive in or have company coming.

I generally keep the inside clean instead of cleaning often. Whenever I get back from somewhere, I just bag up the trash and dispose of it on my way in. The outside I am less diligent with, I let the rain do a lot of the work for me.

Mine is generally spotless inside - but it takes effort.

I vacuum it often & don't allow any eating in my car, which helps A LOT. I think it's gross to be riding around surrounded by crumbs, wrappers, etc.

I have my car detailed every 6 months and vacuum it every 2 days to keep it up. Mind you to keep it up takes about 5 minutes total. I love a spotless car and I love MY car. If you detail it , I think it will really motivate you to keep it looking that way. I have a black on black car and soon as I come home I whip out the portable vac and get up the grass and anyting else that stuck to my feet while driving. DH says I need a life but never argues over my perfectly clean car. His is very clean too but beige on beige is easier to maintain! and yes I also swifter my house 3x a day too!!!!:thumbsup2

right now it's a mess...I am embarrassed of it:rolleyes1 It has some half empty water bottles, random candy wrappers in the back, a sweater and a jacket of mine, half od DD's dance bag that she dumped out over last weekend, gloves etc. Oh,and lots and lots of sand. I am getting the inside detailed next week, thank God. I usually do it myself, but I'm too busy with school and work and I have a broken wrist so I am happy to let someone else take care of it for me!!

No mess here. DH washes it every week, even if it is raining. And he doesn't allow even a gum wrapper inside. It's 4 years old and looks new. :thumbsup2

The inside is generally relatively neat. I have a couple of bags that I usually need for work that I leave in there, he usual stuff in the trunk (jumper cables, snow scraper, flat fix etc.) but other than that, it's clean.
The outside is kind of played since the car is 12 years old. The paint is bit faded and the bumper has some rust on it.

The inside of mine is always clean. I don't keep trash or bags or anything that could blow away when the top goes down. The outside gets washed depending on when I have time and how much rain we have.

Our is also kept very clean.

Outside is washed every 3-4 weeks depending on weather and waxed a few times a year.

Inside: we never leave stuff in the car when we are not in it (other than the few things which truly belong there: first aid kit in the trunk wheel well, car charger in one of the slots that would be an ash tray in a car with the smoking package, owner's manual, coupons (non expired), "emergency" granola bar, and napkins in the glove box).
We do eat in the car, but not tons and we are careful about crumbs so they do not get bad between vacuuming. DS's spot is the worst, meaning it can be noticeable.
In good weather it gets vacuumed a couple of times a month but it can go 2-3 months in between in the heart of winter.
also in good weather we lotion the seats, clean the dash, etc at least once a month.

DH's coworkers are always trying to figure out how it is that he is the only one of them with kids and yet he has the cleanest car:lmao:
