Is Yahoo mail free?

I would like to set up a mail account through Yahoo so all the junk mail can go there instead of to my normal email addy. If someone uses it, could you please tell me if there are any strings attached or any fees involved? Thanks.

I believe that the regular email account is free. If you want to upgrade to more memory, or other benefits, there is a charge.

will continue to go to your regular address, unless you block it. Yahoo has filters, and they are better than some. I have one email that I have not given to anyone but one person, so far no junk. I have 3 others that I have tons of junk in, yahoo being the best one for keeping MOST of it out.
