Is Yachtsman Steakhouse worth the $?

I say it all depends on what your personal preference is and what you normally spend.
DH and I dined there once. We enjoyed it. But have not returned. It was pricey. But the food and service were a step above the others, who are not bad themselves.

Totally worth the 2 dining credits, in my family's opinion. We dined there last summer & will be making another ADR there for our next trip!

The food and service has always been very consistent here. Since we stay YC/BC often, we dine here frequently. Is it the best 2TS Disney has? I don't think so. Perhaps it's because it's just steak, I'm not a huge steak eater, and we have nice steakhouses here (it's no Ruth Chris). We do like it because it's always been one of the quieter dining places at WDW and we have always had excellent service here.

We've had several very enjoyable meals here - and definitely plan to return on our trip in June!!! Food and service have always been exceptional!

In fact, its one of my DD's favorite restaurants - we both LOVE the creme brulee too!!!

I have eaten at Yachtsman Steakhouse many times and it is always been a very good experience. Whether it is "worth" it, however, is very subjective and only you can make that decision. I tend to think that if one has to ask the question, it probably won't be worth it to that person.

I say yes, I had a fantastic filet and the little onion rolls with roasted garlic were out of this world.

DH says no, he likes the filet at Jiko better and the NY Strip at Flying Fish better than the Yachtsman...and the Yachtsman used to be his favorite

IF your a steak person, 100% yes

If you don't like steak then no.

Most of the people in my family love steak and they love to go their every year. I'm not a steak eater so I'm not too big on it. But the deserts and location are good

We thought it was pretty good--lightly themed, good service and centrally located. When we wanted steaks, we chose this over Shula's because it had a kid's menu (Shula's does not).

In general, it was good enough to be memorable, but not quite at the level of some of the other signature restaurants. I don't know if we'd go back next time--there are just too many options--but eventually, we'd return.

Note: The menu for Yachtsman states they have Kobe/Wagyu...they didn't have it when I was there (09 Jan 24-31) . We were told it is only available "occasionally".
