The WL was our first deluxe resort we stayed at and the ONLY one we stay at!! We love the lodge!
Everytime we would go to WDW and stay at a value or moderate, my hubby would always say "One day we are gona stay there (meaning the WL) and he just loved it so much. He said it was just a wonderful looking resort. I didnt really care too much for it (I dream of staying at GF) because here in Alabama, I see pine trees and wood houses all day long!! But once I walked in those huge doors, and looked at the lobby, I WAS MESMORIZED!!
We always like to get a inner courtyard view to relax on our balcony and look at Bay Lake early in the mornings when the fog lifts and the sun starts to cast a yellowy-red glare on the water..OMG....just beautiful. Gives me goose bumps!!!
The rooms are smaller than most moderate resorts, but to me, that makes it more "homey" and cozy.
And everything is right there, its not spread out like some resorts.....the lobby, gift shop, restaurants, food courts, are right at your fingertips and then right around the corner, you have the boats or buses to the parks or to the TTC.
THE ONLY THING THAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT THE WL...is there is no monorail for the lodge.

If the lodge had the monorail stops, IT WOULD BE PERFECT!!!!!!!!!! But it is 99.9% PERFECT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!
