Is W Wilderness Road still closed?

Hi friends!
I'm headed to Fort Wilderness in February!
We have electric bikes (sondors) that we love to use when our Motorhome is parked.
We have already decided to cycle over to the Four Seasons for dinner one night.
Wondering if the road to Wilderness Lodge is still closed? I assume the footpath is still closed due to the unfinished/cancelled construction?
Would love to be able to go over to Geyser Point for a drink via our bikes...

Megawoman,

Unfortunately the old bike trail is still gone. There is a road through the old construction zone and the Yellow bus will take you over to WL, but no foot or bike traffic.

Well that is disappointing! Guess we will have to take the long way 'round then!

Taking the "long way" on your bikes may be a little frightening. Going out onto Vista and World Drive can be intimidating. I use to be a long distance cyclist and am very comfortable riding in traffic, but I stopped bringing my bike a few years ago and heading out onto the roads of WDW. Traffic has gotten crazy and the shoulders aren't great.

The Yellow bus over to WL is a pretty nice option.

I was looking at Google Streetview and noticed the lack of road shoulders.
