Is Victoria and Alberts really worth it??

Hi, is V&A really worth it? We will honeymooning on the Disney Cruise and after eating all of the amazing food on the cruise (especially Palo's), will we be disappointed with V&A?

Any other suggestions for really great food and romatic atmosphere?

We were disappointed there, but most people love it. If you have no issues paying over $300 for a gourmet meal, then go for it!

Personally, we prefer a less gourmet menu, and would rather eat at Citrico's three times than V&A's once. Just our opinion.

Food on the cruise is good yes..but not V&A quality. The cruise chefs do a fantastic job preparing the quality of meals they do for 2000 people at a time. Palo is very good...we loved it on the magic..were not so impressed with it on the wonder.

YES, YES YES!!! It is definitely worth it! We had a wonderful time, and were able to try foods not easily attainable in the local Superfresh It is also well worth putting uot the extra money and going with the wine pairing. It makes a difference in the way you experience each course. Of course, you're half in the bag by the time you get to your entree

Could be you'll be disappointed with Palo after dining at V&A!!!

True-it IS expensive but if gourmet dining, attentive service, fine wine, and a 2 and 1/2 hour meal is what you are after, then you should be pleased.
However, if just a nice meal in a nice restaurat is what you are REALLY after, then Ducklite is right--elsewhere is best, and Citrico's is a nice place.

I ate at Palo on the Disney Magic.

I ate at the Chef's Table at V&A's.

Both experiences were wonderful. I was not disappointed
by either of them.

And I agree with the person who said you'd be halfway to being blitzed before the entree course with the wine pairings! LOL!
