I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I am having trouble finding Vero info? the one and only time I was at Disney Vero as their grand opening week in the 90;s! Fast forward to today - I now have a DD12 and am wondering if a 2 night side trip here would be worth it after 5 days at WDW. We go to disne yearly but havent been to Vero since the beginning! Is there much to do there? I remember it being rather quiet and not much to do back then....Any info would be appreciated. Am thinking June 8 - 10 and then goinh to WDW from there...Thank you!

Well...I for one would say yes, but I am basised :)

I recommend you go here:

paying especial attention to post #1 of the above thread.
There's tons of info, scanned resort activities sheets, you name it...if it's about DVB Resort you can find it there.

In general it IS a beach resort and therefore it will not compare in the activities one can find at WDW...but if a nice relaxing beach stay works for you, in connection with what the resort and the aear offers, then it's ideal.

Vero is a great way to get a little rest in at the end of your vacation after being in WDW. We like a little down time on vacation after all the go-go-go at WDW,

We think so too. This year we are lucky enough to be going to BCV for 5 nights for F & W festival and then heading to Vero Beach for 6 nights to enjoy the beach, each other and to relax.
I can't wait!!!

I would definitely go for it. We stayed three nights last August before our 5 night WLVs stay and we wished we had booked an extra night or two. Give it a try! (it was our first time).

We just came back from our first trip there and loved it! Very relaxing, but there were also lots of activities if you were so inclined.
