Is US a 1, 2 or 3 day Park?

I feel like I'm a pro with WDW following all the DIS Boards, but now my family wants to visit Universal while we are in WDW for 1 week. How much time does it take to see all of Universal? How many day(s) should I set aside to tour the Universal parks? I know nothing about the park. Can someone help? Thanks

You can certainly (and should) try it for 2 days (1 day per park), but you'll likely find you want a 3rd day to re-do your favorites. Which, that's the current promotion... buy 2 days, get the 3rd free!
Forget about the stereotypes of "Studios is for shows, Islands is for rides", just take your time & soak both parks in.
And yes, you can walk back & forth between the 2 parks all day long. (5 min. walk!)
