Is Typhoon Lagoon Closing for rehab in October 2015?

I am trying to get a conformation that TL will be closing on Oct. 4th for rehab? I hope not as it is our favorite park and we had it scheduled for 3 visits during our upcoming trip.

Whoa, I hope they don't move the date up! We're there the week before and this is our first trip with the Water Park Option! It's our major planned highlight of the trip, mainly to see and do something different. If TL was closed any earlier than Oct 4th, I think we might reconsider our trip!

Come to think of this though, it seems like an AWFULLY weird time to refurb TL. It's still hot out in WDW in October, and they can easily work on it over the "winter" months...

Well TL always goes down in October just never this early... Blizzard beach is always an option

TL usually closes near the end of October for refurb that lasts a little over 2 months. Blizzard Beach remains open because it's already "decorated" for the holidays. When TL reopens in January BB goes down for it's 2 month refurb. As PPs have said, it's just the fact that the current calendar shows TL closing at the beginning of October that is a surprise.

I have spoken to a cast member today and they have confirmed TL is closed from the 25th October 2015

The internal (cast) WDW Calendar shows TL as open through Saturday October 24 and closed for refurb beginning Sunday Oct 25.

It's changed. Now Blizzard Beach is closing on October 25 and Typhoon Lagoon will be open.
