Is TSMM at HS closing mid-october?

I was looking at the Dibb website and I see that no FPP are available for TSMM 10/15-19 even though there is availability almost every day prior to those days so I don't think they are booked already. Anyone heard any rumors that the ride is going down for refurb? maybe that's why fpp's wouldn't be available. just wondering. our fpp schedule day is 8/25/15 for trip which starts 10/24 and I was planning on trying to get one of these fpp.

I thought this was maybe Columbus Day weekend, but that's the weekend before. Do a lot of schools have a break during that time? We only get Columbus Day off.

I'm guessing 60 day rule. Because even at 60+10, we're only at 10/15/2015, today. Yesterday we would have been at 10/14/15.

I don't think it's the 60 day rule, because that's not how it looks on any of the calendars for other attractions. They show them as available even if they're further out than 60+10. It's now showing TSMM FP+ to be unavailable for October 15-20.

How do they acquire this information? The poster mentions not being able to access MDE, do they log on and personally check it? I hope they have some fancy program set up to check it and they do not have to do it themselves. We will be at HS on 10-17 and I am hoping this is somehow proven to be wrong and we can get FP+ for TSMM while we are at the park that day.

I read that it is scheduled for refurbishment but that it wasn't supposed to close. However I did notice that dibb is listing (dang auto correct) zero fastpass availability for it. A little concerned about this as well

Haunted mansion closed for a couple weeks with almost no warning last year. I wonder if they plan to holiday it up and it's a short closure to decorate or redo the queue for the ride expansion for more tracks.
