I too have been wondering if we should purchase trip insurance for our Aug. trip to WDW.We never had it before until last year when it was added to our package before we knew it and we couldn't cancel so we kept it because one never knows when you're going to need it.We've had to stay at WDW for several days longer than planned because of a hurricane and the airports closeing and also the parks were closed, and we had no trip inusurance and staying in Contomporary Towers. The resort was very good with working with us,and I spent alot of time on the phone getting flights out and also Disney gave everyone a park pass for the day the parks were closed (if you already had a ticket you got one to replace it),but since we were a family of 5 it was alot of time worrying over everything, money, flights, weather, etc. So since my first granddaughter is going to be born in Oct and our trip is Aug.,and also that my mom's health isn't good, I am really thinking that this is the time to get trip insurance. If we do get it,it will have to be done in a couple of days because of our 45 day arrival time.Since each of us are paying our own part on our WDW package, then it really would be worth it,rather than worry the whole trip.Looks like I am talking myself into it.
