Is Toy Story Mania wait times still that long?

Today all the FPs were gone when I was walking by at 3:15PM. Don't know how much earlier they were all snagged.

The wait at that time was 70 mins.

we were there this past thursday and were able to ride 3x's, twice with FP's. the time we waited in line was posted as 50 min and actually took us about 25

I've seen three posts on this thread where the listed wait time was longer than it should have been. Starting to wonder if this ia intentional.

Anyone remember back in the day when it was a ToT stampede at rope drop?

could be
it is always better to have people say wow that was faster then expected vs having them complain because it took longer

What is the wait time like on extra evening hours? We will be there in July but will only be in HS later in the afternoon thru extra hours ending at 11pm. My kids DD16 and DS13 love this ride! We have always been there for rope drop in the past and have done the stand-by and FP first thing. Anyone have advice for me? Thanks!

Assume that virtually every guest who is not at DHS PM EMH participating in the "children's dance party" will be standing in the queues for Toy Story Mania, ToT, RnRC and (soon) Star Tours.

Ok, thanks for all the replies, I was hoping that the situation had changed somewhat, doesn't look that way. 60 minutes is the most I usually stand in line at disney, there is always so much we want to do, we just move on to something else, but we have never done this ride and I was hoping to do get to ride this time. It kinda looks like I might could go above 60 on this and hope for the best, maybe less that, of course, if there is ever an exception to something, it's gonna be me, I'll get in a 60 line and it will be 90, story of my life. But thanks for all the info.

We had the same problem at California Adventure last summer. We wanted to do it, but they don't have FP there, and the line was never less than 60 minutes. We finally decided to step in line about 5 minutes before park closing, so at least the time we spent didn't take us away from something else. FWIW........ it STILL took 60 minutes!

When I was there last Friday, we got there for rope drop (we weren't at the front of the crowd, but still there for rope drop) and as soon as the park opened we went straight to TSM and when we got there (maybe 9:05 or 9:10 at the latest?) stand by was already a 50 minute wait! Of course, we picked up fastpasses.
