Is this worth the Money...Please HELP!!

So we are going on a 5 day Disney Cruise for Spring Break and I was thinking about coming 1 day earlier, staying at the HRH and doing Universal IOA with my hubby and 2 teen girls (people seem to recommend IOA more for teens b/c of bigger rides).

I was quoted the AAA price of $825.00 (Package includes your AAA member benefits (Coca-Cola Souvenir Cup, Savings book and priority seating at theme park shows) and Universal Express Ride access to skip the lines, some attractions excluded.))

So, do you think its worth it??? I want to be able to enjoy IOA & the hotel for that price but not sure if 1 day/night we'll get out moneys worth (of course knowing its Universal, on property, and spring break time).

Thoughts please....

Your dates would be helpful.

I would stay one night to spend 2 days at the parks. Buy the tickets separately from the room. Right now a 2 day 2 park tickets (no park hopping) for 4 adults is $502.72. That leaves the room for one night hopefully under $323 which is possible. with your dates we can figure it out better.

April 5th-10 is the cruise.
Arriving April 4th 8:35 am. We need to be on the ship the next day so I can only do 1 day. If I extend to the day before, I manow paying for 2 nights in a hotel.

I think the begining of April 2012 is a busy first 2 weeks for Universal & Disney. They have those dates blacked out for certain annual pass holders.

Therefore, staying at the HRH and using the free express pass will be worth it. However given the dates, prices for those hotels are going to be $350+

So the price AAA gave you seems to make sense.. however $825 seems like a lot for just one day -- you would get more out of it if you could stay over night and then have 2 full days in the parks before you go back to the ship.

If you have nothing better to spend the money on, then go for it..
