I am going to DW November 11 for 6 days and 5 nights. I have aprice a standard room at the BWI with the silver plan for $2913.40. I am thinking of doing the concierge but not sure it is worth almost $800 more, I like were those rooms are, the double sheet and I like getting up to coffee and breafast but I can justify the money. has anyone done the silver plan and was in concierge? There is just two if us going. Thanks, I get so confused just booking Disney trips, I want the best or close to it :D

In my opinion, I would price everything out separately and look on the rent/trade board. Last fall we stayed in a studio at Beach Club Villas (right across from Boardwalk) we rented points for 6 nights and paid $830, in the studio we had sm. fridge, microwave & toaster and were able to eat some meals in room. I believe that Boardwalk would be in the same points range. We purchased our tickets in advance @ Disney Store, DH & myself $ 217 each DS $172 DD free. For room & tix. that comes to $1436. for 2 ad. & 1 ch. & 1 child no ticket, That's $1500. difference from $2900., we didn't spend any where near $1500 for food closer to $600-$700. We went in 1999 and bought the meals package and even with me being pregnant could not eat enough to use it up,we left with $ still on our ticket for food. Hope this helps. I've learned that planning a trip to WDW and figuring out how to save money can be a full time hobby, if only I could get paid for it.

I would never stay concierge WHILE on one of the plans.

They just don't compliment eachother.

IMO, concierge lounges offer too much for you to fully utilize the plan. We still eat out at WDW and enjoy many nice dinners.

Why not book the concierge room and then do everything else seperately? Who knows, there may even be a discount offered for your travel time as it gets closer.

I have checked into the same thing. We are staying at WL Concierge in May. We will not be doing a plan. If I were going to do a plan we would book a deluxe room.

I didn't mean to post twice. Sorry. Tried to delete it and I can't.

Let us know if you price everything seperately using a concierge room and if it is cheaper.

Good luck.
