Is this wishful thinking for Le Cellier?

Right now I have an ADR for Le Cellier for mid November at 4:30. Our plans may be changing a bit and we are looking to be done of dinner by 6:00. Is it possible? I'm hoping maybe because it is an early time, we won't have much wait to be seated, plus, thought maybe if we knew what we were ordering beforehand, that might save time...would it do any good to tell the server we would like the meal to move along?

If you are seated on time or close to 4:30, I think you should have plenty of time to enjoy your meal and be done by 6:00.
If you are seated a bit later than you expect I would certainly let the waiter or waitress know that you need to leave by 6:00.

That's about the time CP packages start. I would expect them to start trying to turn the tables as quickly as possible. I'm sure it helps if you know exactly what you want to order and then just 'get down to business.'

PS: We're doing a 4:10 Le Cellier on 12/25 because I want to see the tree lighting at 6pm!! Then we're going to hustle over for our 6:45 CP.

Let your waiter know when you sit down that you have to be done by 6 pm. They may try and get you in and out.

We had an ADR for 4:30 and we were in and out in one hour. We were not rushed and had a great meal.

You should not have a problem getting in and out, it just depends on how close to your ADR they get you seated. We waited for almost an hour when we ate there in April (during peak season) The meal went pretty quick so I guess it all depends on when you get seated.

Yep, and ask for your check / give the server your credit card right after s/he brings the meal out. Then relax and enjoy your dinner.

I agree that this is doable. LC is booked solid most of the time so turning tables is a specialty there.

Yes, they do work at turning tables there. We are pretty fast eaters and don't drink so no cocktail time is involved and we've stopped going to Le Cellier primarily because of the race-track attitude. I'm sure you'll be out in time providing your group is not too large.
