Is this weird?

My dh and two ds (4yr and 20 months) are going to DL in June and I was wondering if it would be weird if I got a graduation button at city hall since I just graduated college with my bachelor degree. I was planning on getting one since this trip is partially to celebrate this event in my life, but then was thinking it would be weird since most anyone with a graduation button would be hs grads and we are going 2 months after I graduated. So I wanted to get your opinions. Is it weird?

my birthday is in Dec.. and we visit Disneyland and I always get a birthday button.. as the trip is partly my birthday present.!! I Never feel weird about it.. we got anniversary buttons once and we got married in August.. Disneyland is magical in that you can celebrate no matter what . and people wont think you are strange.. well if you were to be celebrating your cars birthday ,, that might be a be wacko..

Congratulations! I'll do you one better...

In May of 2010 I finished my BS (the first in my family to get a college degree). At the time my was son in high school and my daughter was in college. We went to WDW that May, and I walked around MK with the graduation cap ears on. I did not care if people thought it was HS or college, and I received many congrats from cast members. Celebrate your achievement - you earned it!

I got mine 8 years after my graduation of HS lol. I saw the buttons and said "I graduated...8 years ago" and the cast member was like "oh then you need one of these!" and gave it to me

I don't think it's weird. Now, the kid who had "graduated" from kindergarten and was wearing a class of 2013 cap and button, I thought was weird. I still find it odd I have to have a graduation ceremony for fifth graders.

Sidetracked: So agree with this! And I worked for a principal who said it had to be a BIG deal. She seriously made some comment about it might be their only graduation. I say pretty low expectations for a group of 11 y/o kids to think they wouldn't even finish 8th grade. I mean most kids don't drop out of school until 10th grade.

I graduated in Oct '10 with a B.S. degree at the age of 46. We went to DL for the Halloween parties and my daughter got me a graduation button, I was hesitant to wear it, but she said, you did all the hard work, raised 2 kids and worked, you deserve the recognition.
