For the most part, the replies here have been honest and seemingly with heartfelt intent. I do think some people were unnecessarily rude to the OP. The OP asked, "is this weird to you". Either yes, it's weird to you or no.

That was roughly what "The Thing" was all about. I cannot describe it any further than it being an incident that occured, as a result of a somewhat humorous discussion with another individual who is even more whacked than what you purport me to be, which was so horrible, and so terrifying, that the very mention of it would bring back imagined memories of what would have happened and what might have happened had I lost control of myself.

So let me get this straight, there are two of you out there?!?
