my dad says hefound a McDonald's in Orlando a few years ago that sold tickets cheaper than anywhere - it waseither next door to Mcdonalds or the actual restaurant...any residents know if this is true??

The "worlds largest" McDonalds on International Drive and Sand Lake often has people offering discounted tickets. The catch is you need to go to a timeshare presentation to get them.

Because these people roam the restaurant and bug you while you're eating, I will never give this McDonalds my business again. If I want to be hit up for a timeshare presentation, I don't want it to be while I'm eating.

I agree. Be careful of the "Discount Disney tickets" trap. I have had only bad experiences with time sharing presentations. Probably because I have always exercised the "no obligation" option and didn't buy anything. Not worth it IMO.
