I have heard that AP holders can get this...but this link says anyone can get one for 75 bucks?

Also do you think this is worth it? I mean..we will be going for 9 days in Nov. family of 5...two adults and three children ages 14, 11 and..so anywhere we eat we will only be able to get one child price meal.

Would love feed back.

IF THIS IS TRUE.........I COULD KICK MYSELF FOR NOT GETTING THIS BEFORE..WE WENT TO WDW in Jan.

From everything I understand you have to have an AP or be a Florida resident. membership in the Disney Dining Experience is open to Florida residents, as well as Annual Passholders no matter their state of residence. That is the only way of getting a DDE card. If you are/have either of these I would say get the card. It paid for itself within the first 3 days of our trip. And we have used it on 3 trips this year.
Hope this helps
Debbie

There are multiple threads on different dining plans that WDW offers. I'm leaning toward the DDE one (which is your link) simply because we've never used one before and the other option is to pre-pay $35 PP ( we are all considered adults) per day for "everything". I like the fact that the DDE gives us a straight 20% off and we usually go to most of the places listed. With our AP, the $75 is marked down to $50, which we could re-coup in a couple meals. You should consider the AP if you're going for an extended stay. An AP will get you special rate on resort rooms, and a discount on Disney merchandise, plus some other specials. We go once a year for 10 days and save constantly with the one AP. Once I see how the DDE works for us next trip, I may be more inclined to do the pre-pay package. I guess I'd rather not get caught up in alot of "fine print", which seems to be the case with some of the more inclusive dining plans. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Well, according to the link you provided - it says that this is for Florida residents and/or AP holders from any state. I don't see anything that says anyone else can get it.

I think it is just AP or FL residents. We just got ours for our upcoming trip. I think we will break even on this trip and see savings on our next trip in February but that is really just 2 people (DD still shares!). If you have a larger group and you are eating table service--you'd probably save lots! I'd recommend it.

We just got ours last week. We were down for 4 days (6 adults, 2 children) and we have already paid for the card and saved money using it. It was a great investment. We will use it at least 20 more days within the next year

After you spend $250 on meals, it becomes worth it. My family can break that easily.

Can you tell me when you ordered it, when you received it and what the expiration date is?

The reason I ask is, we're going in early December this year and early November next year. Others have posted that their cards took a while to receive them. I want to use the card for both trips, so I don't want to order it too early that it expires before next November, but I also don't want to wait too long that I don't receive it in time for this year's trip.
