I'm looking for a gift for the woman who drives my son home from school. At xmas I gave her a Harry and David gift basket, which she said she loved. I'm looking and can't come up with anything better than H&D. Is it bad to give another H&D basket? I would give a different type of basket, so it wouldn't be the exact same. But, I still feel kind of lame for doing that.

My daughter's friend's mom picks her up most mornings and I'm going to go to Bath & Body Works and get her stuff from her favorite collection.
H&D has the BEST Moose Munch!

www.fanniemay.com Get her a box of the Trinidads. They're hand-dipped chocolates from the Chicago area and might be better than anything on Earth (well, except Jelly Bellys).

Harry and David also has AWESOME salsa. You could give her another type of basket.

While H&D does make fabulous baskets, and Bath and Body Works is a fun place too - I'm going to make a practical suggestion.

What about a GC for gas? I think there are many people feeling the pinch right now.

That's a nice gesture on your part. Can you find out from her husband/SO what other things she likes/enjoys?

My sister-in-law gets me the same chocolate torte cake every year for Christmas and I love it! I love the cake and the fact that she thinks of me, I am sure your friend will just be thrilled with the kind gesture

Can I just tell you how much you made my day. I though Fannie May went out of business. I love the Trinidads and I love their buttercreams. I seriously have been searching high and low for dark chocolate covered buttercreams. :thumbsup2

  Making my mouth water right now!!

A Bath and Body Works basket, a Yankee Candle basket or a Godiva basket are always good. Or you could make up one yourself and put in a bunch of different stuff you know she likes. If she did really like the H&D basket though, I don't see anything wrong with giving another.

My sister and I make baskets for each other for our birthdays every year, sometimes we do a theme, sometimes it is just a mishmash of stuff. But we both always look forward to it.

Thanks everyone. After looking more at H&D I found a cute Grill Masters basket. I figured I can expect the same quality yet it's a completely different product.
